If you have access to more than 1 project, they can be found in the top menu.
All files in the project will after selecting it, be shown in the top menu divided into 2D and 3D files.
Selecting a file will open the model/drawing and reveal in the menu which item is currently open.
If you have been granted the ability to download files, the small download icon will start a transfer of the file in the original file-format.
Panning in the viewer: Right-click and drag / Middle mousebutton and drag / Shift+left-click and drag / Select the hand icon and use left-click.
Orbiting in the viewer (only 3D files): Left-click and drag / Middle mousebutton+shift and drag / Right-click + Ctrl and drag / Select the oribit-tool in menu and left-click (selected as standard).
Zooming in the viewer: Scroll the mouse wheel / Right-click + Shift and drag / Select the zoom-tool and left-click.
When hovering the cursor over an object it will be highlighted. Left-clicking will select the object. Pressing Ctrl or Shift while left-clicking on an object will add the object to selection.
Selected objects will be highlighted in blue.
Deselecting objects can be done by pressing Esc-key or clicking in the viewer away from objects and without any keys pressed. This can also be done by right-clicking and pressing "Clear Selection".
Hiding selected objects can be done by right-clicking and selecting "Hide Selection".
NB. This will change objects to ghosted unless you have activated the "Ghosted On/Off".
Ghosted On (Gray), Hidden On (Blue).
With this button you can turn Ghosted View On and Off.
Show all objects
Right-click in the viewer and choose "Show all objects"
NB. This will reset all filters currently in use and cannot be undone.
Set orbit center
Press Alt and click the element you want to choose as center of orbit.
Change Focal Lenght
Hold down shift+ctrl to see the current field of view - change by left-click and drag whilst keeping shift+ctrl pressed.
NB. Changing the focal length can sometimes reduce flickering geometry
Find selected objects
Double-click the viewer to zoom to selected parts in the model
This can also be done by right-click and select "Focus"
Assembly Selection On/Off (blue/gray).
When Assembly Selection is On a click selection in the viewer will select the nearest Assembly to the Part selected in the ModelTree (if the model contains Assemblies).
Get object properties
In the Properties Panel you will get a curated view of the MetaData for the selected object.
Clicking on a Property in the panel will isolate object with the same Property Value.
With DisplayFilter you can filter what is visible in the viewer based on metadata on the objects.
In this panel you can multi-select properties.
Properties within a single category (e.g. Level-1 and Level-2) will display elements with these (e.g. Level-1 and Level-2) properties.
Properties across multiple categories (e.g. Level and PartType) will make a combinatory filter of the visible objects (e.g. will a selection of Level/Level-1 and PartType/Slab-Solid filter out and display all Slab-Solid objects on Level-1).
The property names is related to the properties in Colorize, and these two extensions can be used in conjunction.
NB. The CircleArrow at the top right of the panel will reset the Filters.
With the Colorize Panel you can colorize visible elements in the viewer based on MetaData Properties. In the category ColorBy you can select one property name to color by.
Below will a legend category appear and the colors used for each metadata property will be displayed.
All objects visible in the viewer will be colorizes, also Ghosted objects. If this is not desired, then you can use the 'Ghosted On/Off' button.
The property names you can color by is related to the DisplayFilter properties, and these two extensions can be used in conjunction.
NB. The CircleArrow at the top right of the panel will reset the Colors.
With the Quantity Panel you will get the sum of the quantities of selected objects, if you have made a selection.
If no selection is made the panel will display the sum of the visible objects (ghosted objects will not be part of the sum).
At the right of the category is displays the amount of objects summarized.
With the Quantity Visualizer you will get the sum of the quantities grouped by the meta-data in the dropdown of the visible objects in the viewer (ghosted objects will not be part of the sum).
In the Select Filter dropdown you can select which meta-data should be used for grouping.
By clicking a column in the table the pie-chart will change to display this column data.
By clicking on row in the first column of the table or clicking on a piece of the pie-chart the objects will be selected in the model.
By clicking the assembly icon, the quantity sum will be based on meta-data on assembly level.
By clicking the palette icon, the model will be colored based on the colors and groups of the table/pie-chart.
By clicking download button, an Excel Sheet of the data in the table will be downloaded.
With the Reference Model Panel you can load multiple models into the viewer. The Referenced Model will not contain any meta-data.
With the Document Link you can open a 2D drawing related to elements in 3D. You can also isolate elements in 3D with one click of the Link button in your 2D viewer.
If Drawing positionen in 3D is available, then this will be loaded as well.
